What's New on the 2025 Subaru Forester
The 2025 Subaru Forester has been re-designed to move into a new generation. It has new body panels across the vehicle, with new squared-off wheel wells, to update its entire exterior. Inside, you'll also find new seating options with standout materials and a layout that comfortably seats five. There have also been efforts to deafen the sound onboard as you drive to enjoy a serene and comfortable drive through Grand Rapids in a 2025 Forester. The Forester still keeps its versatility and cargo space and has plenty of onboard safety to utilize on your daily drives.
Performance
With the 2025 Subaru Forester, you'll find a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 180 horsepower, which uses a continuously variable transmission. It also adds more torque up to 178 pound-feet, which can produce greater RPM, which is nice when driving daily around Grand Rapids. It's still slated to remain efficient and create quality fuel economy, as it's estimated to reach 26 miles per gallon in the city and 33 miles per gallon on the highway.
Interior
There's an updated interior with quality cloth and leather-like seating material options, plus ample storage space. You'll find up to 74.2 cubic feet of cargo space when you fold down the rear seats, which gives you plenty of room for groceries, luggage, and other items you need to transport and store.
Technology and Safety
Drivers will find that on the 2025 Forester Premium, there's a standard 11.6-inch touch display onboard, plus you'll find full integration with the likes of Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay, plus available Wi-Fi options, USB connection ports, and more.
The Subaru brand is known for safety, and the 2024 Forester is no different. It comes with Subaru EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology and which includes standard automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist, and adaptive cruise control to go along with cameras that work to provide you with confidence via alerts on the road.
2025 Subaru Forester Trim Levels
- Forester Base: the standard model comes with EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology as well as smartphone integration and STARLINK®, plus a Front Reminder System
- Forester Premium: adding on the Base features, this adds an 11.6-inch touch display has a 10-way power driver's seat, keyless entry with push-button start, a panoramic moonroof, and 17-inch wheels available
- Forester Sport: you're going to find 19-inch wheels, added exterior accents, a two-tone interior upholstery, and blind spot detection available on this model
- Forester Wilderness: with added ground clearance, all-terrain tires, and off-road features, this is a vehicle built for adventure
- Forester Limited: there are many premium features onboard, which include leather-trimmed upholstery, dual-zone climate control, and a power rear liftgate
- Forester Touring: the range-topping option, there's Saddle Brown leather-trimmed upholstery, as well as DriverFocus® Distraction Mitigation System, an all-weather package, and plenty more luxury amenities
